BVI crossed the line six times in total, with tries from Mark Wells, Sam Thompson, Ryan Fisher, and Captain Tom Chapman, while Keegan Fisher added a brace to round off the scoring.

Man of the Match Sam Thompson also delivered an outstanding performance from the tee, successfully converting five kicks to help drive the scoreline to 40 points.

BVI dominated the first and second periods, setting the tone early. However, Puerto Rico came back strongly in the final period, tightening up defensively and preventing BVI from adding to their tally. Their resilience ensured a much more competitive finish than the score suggested.

There was late drama as Rob Lind was sent off with another yellow card — a moment that’s becoming something of a pattern for the passionate Irishman....!!
